Seasons of You: Longest Night is a 90-minute winter solstice sound bath at Very Well KC in downtown Overland Park, held on the eve of the year’s longest night. We begin with a gentle guided reflection on the year behind you: what you’re proud of, and what you’re ready to release. Then we settle onto our mats as the sun sets, around 5 pm, for a deep solstice sound bath of crystal bowls, gongs and chimes. A cozy, quiet way to close out 2026 together.
What’s included:
Guided reflection prompts
A warm seasonal mocktail (alcohol-free)
A full sound bath, live
What to bring:
A journal, if you like
Layers or a blanket for extra coziness
Mat and blanket provided, or you are welcome to bring your own throw blanket and pillow.
Your sound practitioner:
Led by Joann Schermerhorn, ISTA-certified Therapeutic Sound Practitioner and Sound Medicine Academy 200-hour facilitator, who leads the Wednesday sound bath at Very Well KC.
