Dr. Wiggins is a 1993 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic University. She owned and operated Green Hills Chiropractic and Acupuncture for 26 years in her hometown of Trenton, MO before moving to the KC area in 2021 to be near her family. She is happy to be led to practice with other holistic healers at Very Well KC. Dr. Wiggins has also completed the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association certification as well as being Acupuncture certified for 15 years.
In her free time Alissa enjoys time with her fiancé Brent, daughter Maci, and other family and friends. She fills her time cooking, playing golf, hiking, working out and lake time, along with expanding her spiritual growth and living from a place of love.
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through the skin at specific points. It is a technique for balancing or moving the flow of energy, known as Qi/Chi through the body. Studies have shown acupuncture to be effective for the following conditions: stress reduction, headaches, sinus and allergy, arthritis pain, tendonitis, sciatica, PMS, infertility, chemo induced nausea and vomiting.
