Questions about our services

What's the difference between massage and bodywork?

Massage is performed only by our licensed massage therapists. Bodywork is a broader term for hands-on care, including Ayurvedic treatments and lymphatic work from our estheticians and physical therapist. Each provider works within the scope of their own license or certification, so every service on this page names who provides it.

Can I combine more than one service in a visit?

Yes. Many people pair services in one visit, such as an infrared sauna session before a massage, or a facial after Reiki. Leave time between appointments to rest and drink water. Our team can help you plan a combination that fits your day and your goals.

Are your practitioners licensed?

Every practitioner works within the license or certification their service requires. Our chiropractor, physical therapist, estheticians and massage therapists are licensed. You can read about each practitioner's background on our team page before you book, and our team is happy to answer questions about anyone's training.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear whatever is comfortable. For massage and some body treatments, you undress to your comfort level and stay covered with a sheet. For Reiki, counseling, coaching and hypnotherapy, you stay fully dressed. Your practitioner will explain what to expect before your session begins.

Are these services a replacement for medical care?

No. Our wellness services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Many clients use them alongside care from their doctor. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or take medication, check with your healthcare provider first and tell your practitioner before your session.
